Checking your charge without checking your car
Heading away tomorrow? Or just want to know how your RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid is tracking on the charger?
With Charge Management through the myToyota Connect app [CS5], you can check your battery level and monitor charging progress from your phone.
So instead of heading outside to check, you can see how your charge is progressing while you're packing for the weekend, making dinner or getting ready for work.
Charged, connected and ready to go.
Your phone can be your key
Keys still on the kitchen bench? Your compatible smartphone may be all you need.
Toyota Digital Key allows you to unlock and start a compatible RAV4 using your smartphone once the feature has been set up.
It’s one less thing to find at the bottom of your bag and a pretty handy feature for those moments when the keys aren't where you thought they were.
You RAV4 can record the road ahead
Some technology you’ll use every day. Other technology, you’ll simply be glad is there when you need it.
The Embedded Drive Recorder can capture footage while you drive, with recordings stored within the RAV4 for you to review and download when needed[CS21].
It’s another clever feature working quietly in the background while you get on with the drive.
Just say, "Hey Toyota"
This could quickly become one of those features you wonder how you managed without. it.
Want directions to the nearest coffee shop? Want your road trip playlist? Depending on the function, simply start with:
“Hey Toyota…”
Then let your RAV4 do the rest.
It's designed to make interacting with your vehicle feel more natural, while helping you keep your attention where it belongs: on the drive.
Forgot to lock up? There's an app for that
You're halfway through the shops when the thought hits: Did I lock the car?
Rather than walking all the way back to find out, compatible Remote Commands through the myToyota Connect app [CS5] can let you control certain vehicle functions from your phone.
It's a small convenience, but probably one you'll appreciate the first time you need it.
