Parts Advisor | Pre-Delivery & Vehicle Reconditioning

Looking for a Parts role with a little more variety and responsibility? We’re looking for an experienced Parts Advisor or Parts Interpreter to join the team at Dubbo City & Gilgandra Toyota.
This isn’t just a traditional Parts role. You’ll work across new vehicle pre-delivery, Toyota Genuine Accessories and used vehicle reconditioning, helping our teams get the right parts where they need to be and keeping vehicles moving efficiently through the dealership. What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Parts Manager, this position combines traditional Parts Interpreter responsibilities with specialist coordination of our Rapid Recon system.
- Interpreting and sourcing Toyota Genuine and aftermarket parts
- Coordinating parts and Toyota Genuine Accessories for new vehicle pre-delivery
- Coordinating parts requirements for our used vehicle reconditioning program through Rapid Recon
- Working closely with technicians, Service Advisors and Used Vehicle teams to keep vehicles moving
- Monitoring outstanding orders, backorders and supplier deliveries
- Supporting inventory management and stock accuracy
- Keeping teams informed on parts availability and vehicle progress
- Identifying opportunities to improve vehicle turnaround times and workflow
- Providing great service to our customers and fellow team members.
About you
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Advisor or Automotive Parts Specialist
- Strong automotive knowledge
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence working with computer-based systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across different teams
- A proactive attitude and willingness to solve problems
- Essential: A current forklift licence.
Toyota or dealership system experience would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. If you know automotive parts and have the right attitude, we’d still like to hear from you.
