Dear David, Just thought I would send you a quick email (because no one generally tells us the good stories). Yesterday one of the young guys dropped me down the street to a workshop. And as you do you, you make conversation (I don't like silence - living with Rob Tuck for too long!).
As we were driving along (I had to go all the way out to Lazy River) I asked him whether Dubbo City Toyota was a good company to work for - well. he loves it. His words, "they are great and they treat us very well, we are given things". So I asked what sort of things. He said, "every time someone has a birthday the boss goes down the street and gets 2 cakes and a couple of boxes of donuts" (I figure with your number of staff you must have a standing order at the donut shop). "And also sometimes he goes and gets everyone McDonalds for breakfast..." And, Black Toyota are on a winner with the weekend at Rafferty's ("best time ever")!
So all in all management are doing something right with responses like that. Good on you David, it is lovely to hear that people love their jobs - I just hope that our employees say the same about us!

I am writing to thank Dubbo City Toyota to congratulate and thank you for some excellent service I received recently. I live in Bourke and travelled to Dubbo 2 weeks ago on a Saturday in order to board a flight to Sydney. From Sydney I was travelling to New Zealand returning the following Sunday. When I arrived in Dubbo, I had total failure of my power steering pump on my 2001 model Toyota Prado. Being a Saturday and not returning to the following Sunday, I was expecting the worst. I contacted Dubbo Toyota and spoke to a salesman, from memory his name was Tom. After explaining my predicament, Tom invited me to come and drop my car off to be left at the site. After taking my car over, Tom was more then happy to drive me back to the hotel I was staying at. I then had my father contact the service department during the week while I was away. The service team fixed the problem and even had my vehicle taken out to the airport where I could pick i t up with my spare set of keys. I was expecting to be delayed in Dubbo for atleast a day and the exact opposite happened. I very rarely write letters to thank people for good service however I was so impressed at the response I received I thought it was warranted. From my very first contact with Tom through to picking up my repaired and freshly cleaned vehicle from the airport.

The service at Dubbo City Toyota is exceptional, on the day we arrived to look at a RAV, we were introduced to the General Manager David Hayes, who attended to our needs. Niel then took over the deal and has been nothing but helpful. He kept us informed every step of the way in regards to when the vehicle would be ready for delivery etc. The day of delivery was casual and we felt very comfortable and did not feel intimidated. I have since been back for the 1500km check where I ran into David who took the time to stop and talk to me to find out how things were going with the vehicle. The Service Dept. are extremely prompt in any works that need to be carried out and the fact that they take the time to wash and vaccum your vehicle shows their dedication to customer satisfaction.
